Hi, I’m Mariana. I’m a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering living in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

I received my BS degree in Control and Automation Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) in 2013. I participated in an exchange program at the Universidade do Porto (UP) in Portugal, attending an Integrated Master Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, in 2012. I completed my master's degree with emphasis on Control, Automation and Robotics in 2017, also at UFMG and I am currently a member of the research group Mechatronics, Control and Robotics (MACRO). During my Ph.D I also spent 1 year at LIRMM, in Montpellier, France, as an assistant engineer from the CNRS.

I am currently interested in robotics, mainly in kinematics, humanoids and human-robot interaction.
